Ajith be paired with Katrina Kaif

If reports are to be believed Katrina Kaif is making her debut in a Tamil film. The sexy actress who is currently on a high after the success of Welcome will now star opposite Ajith in a yet-untitled Tamil film. The movie will also mark the directorial venture of choreographer Raju Sundaram.


Katrina is said to have scored over Shriya and Bipasha who were also being considered for the role. However when Katrina was in Chennai to meet Salman Khan (who is shooting for his Pokkiri remake) Raju narrated the script to her. Sources say that the actress was thoroughly impressed and decided to take up the offer.


This is not the first time that Katrina is doing a south Indian language film. She has already done two films – Malleswari opposite Telugu star Venkatesh and Malayalam film Balram vs Taradas with Mammootty.
